This was when I knew I was doing a series and there were going to be more to follow. I like the ship in this one; it's quite distinct and seems to fit with the silhouetted shark-things near it in that it looks kind of nautical.

When my sister saw the blue circles with the pronounced brush-strokes (acrylic) she suggested I give gouache a go; I didn't until Exploration IX, but I'm a convert now.
